I just wanna say thanks to everyone who fav and commented on the prologue. I'm looking forward to doing this story as just as you are reading it. Hopefully the tone is consistent

It's a real improvement over the last one and I'm excited to read more.

It's been amazing to read.

If i had to offer advice it would be that if you take care to keep the characters consistent and at least partly rooted in something relatable, then you can maintain reader interest and attachment to the story. Treat the characters like people rather than plot devices to try and manipulate readers and you'll go far.

Sorry if I'm preaching useless advice but I don't see you having a problem with tone.

Though if you have concerns about consistent tone, Berserk is a good study in that. Despite its overly bleak and brutal tone, the small splashes of humor are welcome and don't ever lessen the feeling of horror, just allowing readers to get a breath before diving back in.

No problem. I'll keep that in mind. Each character has their own...arc so to say; the actual story might be the end of arcs told in the miniseries.

An arc is good for characters, it gives the characters a sense of boundary and a way to grow in a believable manner.

As for the miniseries, that concept intrigues me. A story consisting of end of stories is something I don't think I've seen before.

I got the idea of the miniseries from the injustice: gods among us game and the comics leading to it,

Injustice was a really great game. Plot wise is was one of the better things to come out of DC in a while. And the comics really did a great job showing the arc and downfall of superman from boyscout to dictator. you pick some good inspirational sources.

It's my fav superman story, it gave me something I always wanted to see...a decent lex. And yeah.. but i just love the progression.

neither superman or batman are in the right at first (Clark is right to yell at Bats about Joker) but it's like you said; he goes full dictator,

Me I just loved that the story allowed shades of gray. One of the big weaknesses of DC comics is the way they frame their heroes as "gods." I just loved seeing something where the "gods" had the same doubt and uncertainty as the rest of us.

And as for Superman's fall, I like that the death of the Joker wasn't the end of his decline into darkness but the beginning of it, and the people who tried to manipulate and blackmail superman did so out of fear and a real belief that theirs was the right course of action. It all became a negative feedback cycle that couldn't be broken
