I feel like I need to address this about the Magic War
...yes, I hate Death Note and I think Light Yagami is both overrated as a character and wouldn't last long in a world full of magic.
I have seen stories on Fanfiction where he knows of magical creatures and there are bull reasons why he doesn't just kill magic users.
Given how easy it was to kill Rem, in what i admit is a smart move, fans exaggerate this trait to make him capable of being superior to magical users like the sailor scouts and Sora. And the Doctor.
But really...when those who know Kira is wirh magic..or even know about Kira, they can se magic to disguise themselves.
Given how that would have caused issues in Magic War, I decided to make Light order Ryuk to summon a Minster to attack Mikami in order to lead a magical user into the open. Oh and the whole thing about those with the EYEs being able to detect magic users? I made it up! Yeah I made it up. Wanna know why? Because of the lack of magical creatures in the proper Death Note, we don't know for sure if the eyes can or cannot detect magic.
Light is NOT a recurring villain in magic war; by doing that he'll come off as comical with each defeat when he can just literally kill with a pen. So he has to die. And thus, his actions alongside Wing Skellingtons caused the events of Magic War.
aslo...about Hazama and Sly Cooper human? This is a different interpretation of them.
I hate Death Note and still think Yagami can NOT be a recurring villain, but the idea of exploring the aftermath of Kira set in a magical world has potential.
hence the Magic War.

Magic War Universe Expansion Idea :)
Hey, everyone. I know things have been going slow with the Magic War Group. I’m sorry, family tragedy and Real Life got in the way. But I got a idea to let everyone have some fun with this story. @angelthewingedcat and I propose this: you can all provide your characters fate ideas or even write side story one shots that will be added to the group. By doing this, we can expand the larger scale of the Magic War. But while writing, here are some things to consider: RULES COME TO EITHER TIMEBOY08 OR I WITH ONE SHOT IDEA. This is so we can provide feedback so it doesn’t clash with the main story. Must be set between 2012 and 2016. 2016 is where the main story is set. Cannot interact with WONDERLAND. Unless you wish for their character to be part of WONDERLAND, please come to us and we will provide some pointers. KIRA is not to be played majorly for laughs. No comedic major members. For ideas how to make comedic conversation, please watch Thug conversations from Arkham City YouTube
About the Magic War Intervals
Hey, everyone. Sorry for the lack of content, real life has gotten in the way. I believe I owe you all a explanation for why the intervals in Magic War have too much focus on Sailor Moon characters. As you know the prologues and the two part interval are set in the past before the present day scenes, during the last few chapters of Death Note. But you’ll also have noticed the focus on Sailor Moon. While @angelthewingedcat’s character Wing is still the central character, Green Hood is not exactly well known throughout Japan. In contrast, the Sailor Scouts are and to be perfectly blunt, the contrast between their “monster of the week “ storylines and Light’s view of justice is perfect. The Sailor Scouts regularly fight monsters but not the criminals, the worse of humanity. Light would naturally disregard their deeds and call them selfish but even he realise that they gave their uses. As L, he easily has control over them to a degree, using them “properly”. This provides Kira more
Mortal Guests: One Shot Ideas
Mortal Guests Hi, guys. Sorry I haven’t been on a lot, works been busy. I lately realised that I haven’t been writing as much as a I used to. I want to rectify that. So...I’m gonna be doing weekly short one shots based off the arcade endings of Mortal Kombat 11. BUT there’s a twist to it. I’m gonna be doing guest characters of my choosing. It can be either anime, cartoon, game or live action characters. The characters I have planned so far are Homura Akemi (Madoka Magica) Master Xehanort (Kingdom Hearts) Steven Universe (Steven Universe) The Master (Doctor Who) Squidward Tentacles (Spongebob Squarepants) Light Yagami (Death Note) Each chapter will contain about three different characters. And I’m gonna let you guys decide who you’d like to eventually see. To get a idea of how this works, I’d recommend watching the arcade endings to MK11 https://youtu.be/B9yTh6ftBTM
Author's Note #1
This is to explain how so many franchises can exist in the same story without clashing too much with their different environments and time period like differences. Pocket Universes. To this, I refer to the opening paragraphs of the prologue: The Calcite was an ancient and powerful gem, worn by the ancient wizard Merlin. Merlin dedicated himself to teaching the future King Arthur all he knew of. Alas, the mortal king passed away before his training could be completed. Lost in the death of his surrogate son, Merlin found himself repeating the same years over and over again, but with slight alterations; sometimes the king would be an utter imbecile, some would be a female. With each different King, Merlin realized that his grief had created other universes, found across the world. With each attempt to stop this cycle of grief, the poor wizard only found himself in a loop. It was only through the Lady of the Lake that finally allowed Merlin’s suffering to ended with his life. Well this makes me very happy. Not only is light one of the most one dimensional anime characters I've seen in a long time, he's never once challenged, threatened or ever really put on the back foot. Not to mention that he's wildly irrational and is nearly as thin skinned as Donald Trump.
In the first few manga issues he shit the bed when the fake L called him out on TV and killed him like some crackpot dictator. He's less professor moriarty than skinny Kim Jon Un.
and because Light killed Rem doesn't mean that some magic user can't kill him, or can't outsmart him, or can't use his vast and fragile ego to undercut his apparent intelligence. Not to mention his physical cowardice and overwhelming overconfidence.
Not to mention the fact that he rarely faces down anyone as eager to kill as he is. Misa could have easily killed him but she fell in love like a low rent Harley Quinn. L became friends with light despite knowing that he's a possible murderer and he displays highly sociopathic behavior that anyone with prolongued contact could spot.
That said, I wouldn't mind seeing Light as a humiliated pawn by someone who can be a bit more threatening, maye Hugo Strange has surgically implanted a bomb in his head and unless he punches in a changing, secret code ever six hours that bomb in light's head will go off. Or maybe someone more twisted kidnapped light, sawed his limbs off and uses him as a brain trust stump.
I may be getting morbid but I hate Light just as much as you do. And the thing about light, he can easily betray people who trust him (why they trust him I don't know) but you can't be betrayed by someone you never trusted. Like in a science fiction book a read where a mad scientist tries to work for an evil robot, but the robot removes the scientist's limbs because he knows humans are inherently untrustworthy.
